Don't know if any of you have heard of this.
It was shared with me by a sec four senior in my school.

Imagine that your life was a bottle.
For every sin you commit, I shall add in a drop of deadly poison.
For every good deed you do, I shall add in a drop of pure water.

Let's say, for example,
you forgot to do your homework one day,
and lied to your teacher about why.
You'd think it was harmless,
but I've already added a drop of poison into the bottle.

Let us say, from that day onwards, you never sin again.
To make up for that slip,
you do loads of good deeds.
I'll keep filling up the bottle with pure water.

Once the bottle has reached it's brim,
I'll ask you:

Do you dare to drink it?

Really got me thinking.

hi girls :)

it was a nice first CG session :) thanks for being such nice bubus and tolerating all my nonsense. haha.

i trust and pray that each of you will take time to read the bible, pray and seek God every day :) do use the time you spend on the bus or MRT, the time you spend queuing, the time you spend bathing, basically any pocket of time you may have, to share your thoughts and feelings with God :) in reading the bible, you may use the online version of 'our daily bread' (http://www.rbc.org/odb/odb.shtml) first, till your copy of 'mettle' arrives :) do jot down some reflections in your journals as well :)

yup, so i'm really looking forward to sharing a spiritually fulfilling year with all of you :) and i pray that each of us in Goodness 1 CG will grow closer to God and to each other :) till we meet again on sunday, have a blast in school dearies!

Hi girls!

We are selling:
1) Prawn Mee
2) Pizza, Nachos and Salad [Dan and Sherms, please source for recipes and lobangs on where to get Nachos and Cheese]
3) Love letters/Waffles [Nat and Lind, please get recipes. Decide on which one will be easier to make and easier to sell]
4) Caramelized Cornflakes
5) Lollipops

We need:
1) All recipes and shopping lists (good if you can include an estimated price of the items needed e.g. sugar $1) by this sunday, 29 July 2007. All I/Cs of the different food items please take charge of your own.
1) A theme for our stall, so everyone please think about this and share in CG this sunday.
2) An outfit for food fair, so everyone please either come up with a t-shirt design or an idea for a nice, funky outfit.

Okay so this is roughly the outline for our CG food fair(: On 12thAugust'07(:

Food
- Fondeu (chocolate, marshmallows and fruits)
- Smoothies (fruits and ice)
- Salad (fruits)
- Waffles
- Cookies (papers with verses and numbers)
- Pizza (pizza ingredients e.g. tomatoes and ham)
- Nachos (cheese)

AND not forgetting the song dedications(: Shermay, we're using your laptop right? And Lindsay you're compiling the songs? Everyone send your songs to the two of them(: Christian and non-Christian. Just make sure they aren't like vulgar or anything.

- Cooler box

thought maybe i should blog coz our blog is so dead -.- ehsehs !!! can we like choose a brighter skin ? this one so scary and brooding. haha. and let's try keeping the blog alive, yeah? so everybody if you can PLEASE try to blog about what you learnt at UMAD5.

(muahahha. lindsay runs away without reflecting hoping no one will realise by ending the post.) okay not funny nvm. anne ! dont tell me go home arh. hahaha. so yeah.. learnt that God really loves us alot. the talks were mostly centered on God's love for us. I thank God for giving me the chance to make new friends and open my eyes to new things..
